Q690R : Mutation rate in yeast

The Saccharomyces cerevisiae pol3-Q697R mutation mimicking human POLD1-Q690R is lethal unless the wild-type POL3 is also present. There is no evidence that this variant causes a mutator phenotype in the presence of wild-type POL3.
